Brunch is the most important meal of the week. I’ve told you guys this time and time again, it is the way to end one week, and start another. Me and the gang were separated for a few weeks because we were at our respective homes for Christmas, but Emeri, LS, Catherine, and I decided that we’d meet up for the first brunch of the year at our favorite spot, Calle Ocho. I had made the reservation weeks in advance to make sure we’d have seats, and we added one so my friend Frank could come along. We told each other about our Christmases, Festivuses, and all that jazz while we ate heavily of the famous Tortilla Espanola and sangria. It felt so good to be home and back in the city that I love. Yayyyy!
